Our Trustees
The Trust Board’s key principle is to provide and maintain strong, effective governance at all levels of the Trust.
Trust Board
The Trust Board's core functions include:
- Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
- Holding executive leaders to account for educational performance and the effective performance management of staff
- Overseeing the financial performance of the organisation and making sure its money is well spent
- Ensuring the voices of stakeholders are heard
The Trust Board is legally responsible and accountable for all statutory functions and for the performance of all schools within the Trust. It has established Board Committees with delegated powers for Finance & Operations, Audit & Risk Management, People and Education.
The Trust Board delegates some Academy level monitoring and scrutinising functions to the Academy boards. These Local Academy Boards (LAB) also promote stakeholder engagement as a point of consultation and representation.
